Corrections Policy

Corrections Policy

Boston Sport News works to get every score, date, statistic, and detail right. When we get something wrong, we fix it openly. This page explains how.

How We Correct Errors

When an error is confirmed, the article is corrected as soon as practical. Material corrections — a wrong score, name, date, or injury detail — are noted on the article itself so readers can see what changed. Minor fixes, such as typos that do not change the meaning of a story, are made without a note.

How to Report an Error

If you spot a mistake in one of our stories, let us know through our Contact page: https://www.bostonsportnews.com/p/contact.html — tell us which article it is and what looks wrong. Every report is read, and confirmed errors are corrected under this policy.

Developing Stories

Early reports on breaking news can change as teams and leagues release confirmed information. When a developing story changes, we update the article to the confirmed facts rather than leaving the early version standing.
